Late last year Jack was in the finals for the 3rd grade Spelling Bee at his school. He was sensational and became the alternate because he came in 3rd out of 86 3rd graders. Absolutely Awesome!
Today they had the District Spelling Bee and since Jack was an alternate he would only get on stage if one of the two 3rd graders representing his school was unable to perform. Jack was not able to get on stage because both of the representatives were in attendance and they did a great job representing their school. Unfortunately neither of them made it to the final 3 but it looks like a strong group for the 3rd graders going to the County Spelling Bee.
Jack, I know you were upset but you need to know that Mommy and Daddy are extremely PROUD of you and your Accomplishment with the Spelling Bee...we love you!
Way to go Jack! I never made it that far in a Spelling Bee, so you should be very proud of your accomplishment!!
